Tracy Boucher – TBCrafting

I A M – Indigenous Artist Market Collective Member
Tracy Boucher of TB Crafting
Roots: Alexander First Nation
Now calls home: Edmonton

I am a first nation artisan from Alexander First Nation.

I am a very proud member of I.A.M. the indigenous artisan collective since 2019.
I currently live In Edmonton with my husband of 36 yrs. and our two successful daughters.

I started sewing at a very young age, making doll clothes, My grandmother taught me, she always said ” Pay attention to the details don’t take short cuts”
I am very detailed oriented with the items I create. I am pet first air certified, I truly love animals and that is why I make dog collars and bandanna’s.

I am first generation of a Residential School survivor. My father attended at the Youville residential school in St. Albert.
This is the reason I started making the Indigenous dressed dolls, I feel it is very important to never let this happen again and never forget
those who attended, suffered the abuses and those who never made it home. The MMIWG dolls were also created to bring awareness
to all the missing and murdered not only women and girls but our men and boys.

I am a certified customs specialist and work for an international company, I work closely with Canada Customs and specialize in
aircraft import and Oil/Gas industrial imports. I have worked with custom for over 25yrs

Proud First Nations Artisan,
Tracy Boucher
