Working with Porcupine quills is a honour for Curt Young keeping the old tradition alive with a contemporary feel while still learning everyday. There is verity at the table very simple to long Gala styles. Made for mostly woman with a man’s touch.
CURT YOUNG MUSIC
Curt Young uses traditional and modern styles of music and dance to share his life experiences and culture. Curt uses music as a teaching tool to unite people and captivate audiences! Curt has not only shared his original music on many Community and Festival Stages, but he has shared his love of music and traditional teachings with 1000’s of kids over the last ten years, and after sharing all those teachings Curt has learned that children are our greatest teachers.
Curt’s passion shines through whether he is on stage sharing an intimate up close and personal performance as a solo singer/songwriter or on a Festival stage with his whole band rocking the house and sharing a mix of First Nations instruments the flute, drum, and powwow with roots, reggae, dance, rock, blues.
