Elizabeth Carr is an Algonquin artist and craft maker based in Edmonton Alberta, Treaty Six territory. Elizabeth has been creating artworks and creations for most of her life, and upon completing highschool she went to Grant MacEwan university for a diploma in fine arts. She’s an avid crocheter, painter, jewelry maker and art maker focusing on 3d applications of nature as well as yarn. She also loves creating items that are not only for people but are also for pets as well! Most of her work involves animals as well as nature and storytelling. Her work with moss aims to tell a story having each work feature different animals and found objects. Her stuffed animals each create their own story and character. She aims to make creations that are just like people, all one of a kind!
