Terri Razor – Indigenous Signs and Stuff

My name is Terri Razor, an Anishanaabe-kwe from Waywayseecappo First Nation, Manitoba. I am a mother of two daughters (2 years old) and (10 months). My partner and I began creating signs in October 2021 for Indigenous people. We sold a lot at Christmas time and I found that there is a need and want for Indigenous home décor. The signs I come up with are inspired by Indigenous humor. Some of the signs are inspirational as well. I am a recovering alcoholic and have been sober for almost 17 years and I found my way to spirituality and have danced in the Sundance. Indigenous culture and spirituality has led me to where I am today. I have found other ways to find happiness, which has led me to be creative. I am also a makeup artist, writer, and amateur photographer. Without an outlet like writing, makeup, or creating signs, I would be back out where I was before. I am grateful for my partner, who happens to be a woodworker, and our partnership in creating all that we create.
