Angus is a Metis 2spirit artist who together with his spouse Trent have been a driving force in the event set up and coordination since joining IAM Collective.

Métis Pride is run by Angus Chalifoux from McLennan, who is proudly Métis, and Trent Beauregard from the Bigstone Cree Nation, a proud Treaty member. Together, this two-spirited couple celebrates their roots through traditional art and cultural expression. Trent creates stunning dreamcatchers, while Angus handcrafts vibrant beaded hoop earrings and bracelets. Their work reflects not only their creativity but also the strength of their ancestors and the beauty of their identities. Through Métis Pride, Angus and Trent share their culture, honor their traditions, and bring spirit, pride, and meaning into every piece they create.
