The Indigenous Artist Market Collective is excited to have partnered with Treaty 6 Contemporary for the first ever Treaty 6 Contemporary Art Festival on June 11/2022 in Cold Lake Alberta. As the main source of artist/vendors for this event, IAM Collective is thrilled to bring a sampling of our nearly 80 members out to share their stories and our teaching of Appreciate Don’t Appropriate with festival guests.
Welcome to the First-ever Treaty Six Contemporary Art Festival!
To be held in Cold Lake, Treaty Six Territory on June 11th, 2022.

This event is a showcase of Contemporary Indigenous Art from all across Western Treaty Six Territory. It is a celebration of Indigenous Artists working in the mediums of visual art, spoken-word, performance art, and music.
The Collective is also collaborating with IHuman Youth Society and the Indigenous Artists Market Collective to bring Edmonton-based artists and vendors to the event.
While the spoken-word, theatre, and visual art portion of the event are completely free, the music festival is a paid event.
The music festival will be held in the North Field at the Energy Centre, this is an outdoor event so please dress for the weather. The music and entertainment will be from 3:30 to 11:00 pm. So come out and dance!!!
The proceeds from the ticket sales will be used to pay each Artist who is a part of the event and will be used to bring the Festival back for another year.
